Computerized Acid Loading Station
In 1994, Petroplex developed the first computerized acid loading facility in the Permian Basin. The acid loading system allows tanks to be loaded quickly and accurately by simultaneously pumping both acid, water, and additives uniformly at the percentage and volume input in the Accuload Computer System. This greatly reduces loading time by not having to roll and or mix the acid blend after bringing all the needed components together. Lovington, New Mexico Facility
The Lovington New Mexico facility opened in May 2000 and has greatly expanded our area of operations in southeast New Mexico. Environmental Waste And Recycling Facility Petroplex has a recycling facility to handle all waste generated by operations. This system eliminates waste by recycling all waste and exceeds federal and state standards. What this system will do for our customers is allow our tanks to be drained and purged of the waste acid and chemicals remaining after each treatment. The tank is then clean and free of any chemical incompatibilities for the next loading. Without this type of system, other companies dispose of their waste by loading on top of remaining residue affecting the quality of the product the customer purchases. The waste Petroplex generates from the tank cleaning process is retained in special tanks for customers to use in disposal wells and lines at cut rate cost. Petroplex also has a recycling system in place for truck and equipment cleaning operations.
